Writer’s Workshop is a framework for teaching the writing process. Just as students learn to read best by reading, writers learn best by writing. As teachers, we want our students to become individuals who can use many types of writing genres for a wide range of purposes and audiences throughout their lives (i.e., narrative, information, and opinion writing). In this session you will learn about the basic structure of writer’s workshop and how to get started.
